The history of increased migration from Guyana to Europe, North America, the Caribbean and other parts of the world started in the 1960s due to the unstable economic conditions which prevailed during that period. Over the years, the migrant Guyanese population has increased, leaving gaps in needed skills and experiences within all sectors of Guyana.
Public and Private sector organizations are encouraged to be partners in this initiative as you also have an important role in the development thrust within Guyana. Your involvement in the GUYD project is key in supporting continuity of this initiative.
Existing vacancies within sectors can be published on the project’s website so registered members of the diaspora can apply.
