CANADA-GUYANA OUTREACH MISSION 2014

CANADA-GUYANA OUTREACH MISSION PROVIDES MEDICAL SERVICES AND SUPPLIES TO GUYANESE IN CHARITY AND MAHAICONY

The Canada-Guyana Outreach Mission Team consisting of eighteen (18) medical care professionals visited Guyana during the period September 05-14, 2014 and was at the Oscar Joseph District and the Mahaicony Cottage Hospitals providing medical services and supplies to patients in the Charity and Mahaicony areas and its surrounding environs. Through this medical outreach mission, a total of 571 Guyanese citizens received medical attention and supplies free of cost.

The Mission was facilitated through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health, which worked in close collaboration with the Canadian-Guyana Outreach Mission.
